Travel can be a real headache. Jenny will often keep her medicine with her if we are only out for a day or two. If it’s longer than that I try and keep it locked in the car or in a small cash box with a lock.

Great Idea bout the BIG safe. What do you do when you travel? We dont let the maid clean our room if we stay in a hotel for longer than a day. Or, my wife will take her medicine (BIG bag) with us everywhere.

Also, sad about the narcotic-type – My wife’s teenage brother stole 2 out of her 20 pills just minutes after coming home from a major surgery. While I was walking her in the door and getting her settled on the couch, he was stealing the pills. Even 3.5 years later, we still cant trust him.

You have a really good system going there. I am going to look for one of those containers. I have one that is similar from a pharmacy but it doesn’t have a different color for each day like the one your wife has. That would really help me in those times that I am rushing out the door and don’t have time to figure out first what day today is, then which set I need to take. I was also thinking about buying a single day container and putting an extra set of pills in my purse because some days I leave the house thinking I’ll be back before my next dosage time but I don’t make it. So if I have those extras that’s one less thing to worry about. Thanks for the tips.
